Randy Mackay and Jiro Hattori will be coming to the 1/10 THS weekly meeting to demo the Arduino controlled quadcopter that they showed at MAKE07 in Dec 2011.
Randy Mackay and Jiro Hattori will be giving an introduction to the largest open source personal UAV group, DIYDrones (www.diydrones.com) including a demonstration of the group's most recent accomplishment, the Arducopter (a UAV quadcopter). The introduction will include an overview of the arducopter's capabilities, the hardware and software that's been developed (all open source), plans for the future and how to get involved if you're interested.
