Bios:
Jason Spingarn-Koff recently joined the staff of The New York Times as the video journalist for Opinion, and is the series producer and curator of the Times's documentary initiative Op-Docs (nytimes.com/opdocs). “Life 2.0”, a feature-length documentary he directed and produced, premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and was acquired by OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network's Documentary Club. His prior films and journalism have appeared on PBS, BBC, MSNBC, Time.com, and Wired News. He was a 2010-2011 MIT Knight Science Journalism Fellow and is a graduate of Brown University and the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
Jigar Mehta is a documentary filmmaker and a journalist. He is currently co-creator of the interactive documentary "18 Days in Egypt," a crowd source documentary project about the Egyptian uprising. The project is supported by the Tribeca Film Institute and was a recent participant in the Sundance Institute’s New Frontier Story Lab in October 2011. Mehta is also the co-founder of GroupStream, a collaborative storytelling platform, developed while a John S. Knight Fellow at Stanford University. Before coming to Stanford, he worked as a video journalist for The New York Times. He has a passion for telling stories through strong characters and accurate reporting. He believes in collaboration and community-building, and as president of the South Asian Journalist Association, he has fostered programs that reflect those ideals.
Mehta holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering (2001) and a Masters in Journalism (2005) from the University of California, Berkeley.

Dan Ilic is an Australian comedian, writer, performer, actor, broadcaster, and filmmaker. He is best known for his work on the sketch comedy TV show "The Ronnie Johns Half Hour," and writing and performing in "Beaconsfield: The Musical." Dan is also a reporter/presenter on the ABC show "Hungry Beast."
