Baconmas is a relatively new holiday, celebrated on January 22nd (the birthday of Sir Francis Bacon) to celebrate the sciences, with a side order of bacon. You should try it!

Baconmas is a relatively new holiday, celebrated on January 22nd (the birthday of Sir Francis Bacon) to celebrate the sciences, with a side order of bacon. You should try it!
The past two years, I've celebrated it with friends, a ridiculous number of bacon dishes, fun science demonstrations (like flash-freezing a supercooled beer) and more. This year, I've even made a website (baconmas.com) to spread the Baconmas cheer!
The one fundamental Baconmas tradition is that you should try out new traditions (and record how they went)- thus, each Baconmas should be even better than the last...
If you're not an eater of bacon, that's OK- you should still celebrate the awesomeness of 400+ years of science by the Baconian method! We've done some pretty awesome things, everything considered.
