The movie brings to life the institutions of Domestic Violence, kidnapping and infidelity and how it plays out in the struggles of the day-to-day lives of this Caribbean grassroots Diaspora.
I’m Santana is directed and written by Roger Alexis, and the Executive producer is Ian Pantin. The cast is composed of the popular Santana Series of puppet characters including, Santana, Pastor Stewart, Janice and Narine amongst others.
*Synopsis
I’m Santana is a comedy/drama based on the popular Internet puppet Santana who battles himself and others to cope with the social ills of his community and his love for Janice.
Janice neediness and passive-aggressiveness is maddening to Santana, turning his normally tranquil life upside down. The movie comically brings to life the institutions of Domestic Violence, kidnapping and infidelity and how it plays out in the struggles of the day-to-day lives of this Caribbean grassroots Diaspora.
