The Dutch Consulate, together with the local Dutch community, will bring you another great celebration of Dutch Queen's day in San Francisco!

Last year we celebrated it on Union Square. This year, we are starting a new tradition by celebrating Queen’s Day in the Golden Gate Park, next to the beautiful Dutch Windmill at the Queen Wilhelmina Garden. In cooperation with the San Francisco Department of Parks & Recreation, we will create a designated space from the Great Highway to 47th Avenue. The location will allow us to celebrate in a beautiful park setting with easy access and parking.

ACTIVITIES & FESTIVITIES

At My Dutch Bike (http://mydutchbike.com)
- 9:30-11am: Start of the Market-to-Mill Bike Ride

At the Park Chalet (http://www.parkchalet.com/)
- 9:30-11am: Walking Tour by City Guides
- noon-1:30pm: Lunch Concert by the Winners of the Princes Christina Concourse

At the Murphy's Mill
- 11am: Celebration of Finalizing First Stage of Renovation

At the Dutch Windmill (Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden)
- 1-2pm: Bike Decorating Party followed by a Scavenger Hunt

JFK Drive (between The Great Highway & 47th Ave)
- 11-5pm: Flea Market, Dutch-themed Fair, Music, Food & Beer Garden
- 1:30-4:30pm: Kids' Activities (Soccer & Games)

On Stage (JFK Drive in front of Queen Wilhelmina Garden)
- 1:30-2:00pm: Performance by Dutch Band “Once Again”
- 2:10-2:10pm: Official Opening by Consul General Bart van Bolhuis
- 2:10-3pm: Performance by Dutch Band “Once Again”
- 3-3:30pm: Performance by Rick VanderKlein (Dutch singer from LA)
- 3:30-5:00pm: Music by DJ Mark van Brabant (Dutch DJ from SF)

At Circolo, 500 Florida Street, San Francisco
- 8:30pm-2:00am: Annual NLBorrels Queen's Day Party "Q12" (http://www.ramcus.com)

PARTICIPATE!

We still have opportunities for commercial vendors, children who want to sell things at the flea market, artists who want to exhibit their work, and others who are interested in participating. We are also seeing volunteers to assist with the children’s games, logistics, beer garden, and other activities.
