James McCartney is set to make rare U.S. appearances in early 2012, making his US television debut on Late Show with David Letterman January 30th.
He'll also be playing full band shows at the Sundance Film Festival Jan 23 and 24, The Viper Room in Los Angeles on January 27th, NYC's Rockwood Music Hall February 1st, and at Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, NJ, on February 3rd. At Sundance, he will play two shows for ASCAP's Music Café.
McCartney's U.S. shows will celebrate the recent release of 'The Complete EP Collection' (Engine Company), which combines McCartney's two previous EP's with five never-heard bonus tracks. The special two-disc set was produced by David Kahne and Paul McCartney. Critics praise his songs' "strong pop hooks" (Rolling Stone) and "many bold, original touches" (Times of London).
