Join Google, Reddit, Wikipedia and countless other sites by raising awareness of what SOPA and PIPA could do to the internet! The bills are on the ropes, but not dead, and we must crush them completely instead of allowing them to be simply reworked.
Awareness IS important, but calling Congress is even more so:

We can make a difference. Make your voice heard.
UPDATE #2: SOPA is not dead, it is being rewritten, and PIPA (equally as bad) is still alive in the Senate:

UPDATE: If Facebook isn't letting you invite your friends, try smaller and smaller groups until it starts working.
Help stop the internet censorship law SOPA by creating an album full of censored pictures next Wednesday. Details here:

This is the image for you to upload into albums:

I'm not one of those "change your profile picture to a puppy that looks like you to raise awareness for canine lupus" type people, but in this case, getting the word out about SOPA through a visual campaign like this IS useful as there are SO many people out there that would be affected by the law that have no idea what it is, or what it does.
Whether you know it or not, SOPA affects you as it will fundamentally change the internet as we know it, giving media companies the ability to censor it the way they see fit.

Above all the MOST important thing you can be doing is calling a Congressman to tell them not support SOPA. Here's a good list for that:

Note: If you've been invited here and are "attending" you can start inviting friends of your own, which is how this will spread.
