This party is an excuse to break out into the country, enjoy the summer sun, some very very good wine and Pimms and all the splendour our little home can produce.
Expect home made Jam & Cakes, beef from next door, lamb from down the lane and sloe gin from our garden. If you fancy something in particular please do bring it and we'll cook it or drink it - one way or another. There'll be a couple of barrels of the local brewery ale and lots of soft drinks.
Lots of parking available, and you're very welcome to stay the night. We have three guest bedrooms (one double bed, one bed settee and a double airbed), and several airbeds that we can put inside the house in various locations - but let us know so we can arrange stuff - there's also lots of room in the garden to pitch a tent - we have a couple on hand to lend if needs be, but you'll still need your own airbed & sleeping bag - just let us know.
There's a hotel just around the corner if that's more your thing.
Children & pets are very welcome and we may even get a bouncy castle or something equally fun depending on numbers.
We're kicking off around 3pm and we'll carry on throughout the afternoon and evening - you're very welcome to arrive at 3pm on the dot and leave the following morning, or to just swing by for an hour and say hi.
==Transport==
There's a theory that we may try to get some people together from London for a minibus and hire something - but we'll let you sort that out here. We can also use this page to sort out lifts and car sharing.
Train wise you need to get a train to Princes Risborough train station out of Marylebone, Wembley or West/South Ruislip. It's run by Chiltern Railways and is very civilised! A taxi from the station is £10, but if you're coming along early enough (before we start boozing) we can probably find somebody to come and pick you up.
Post code for GPS is OX39 4RP - here it is on google maps
http://g.co/maps/48ty6 - Note... we have moved - it's only up the road but don't crash the old house 'cause it's being sold and the new owners might not like it.
