The night will begin with readings from the magazine by
Ginger Murray
Vanessa L. Pinto aka Fleur de Lis
& special guest Allison Moon
The reading portion of the evening is free.
We will then rev up the night with the wild stylings of
Dottie Lux, Fox & Woman, Kegel Kater and EL RADIO FANTASTIQUE. There will be prizes and a cougar auction. Come on down and get your bang on!
El Radio Fantastique:
As a living music-breathing entity, El Radio Fantastique's 8-piece band is a stitched together b-movie creature - part rumba band in purgatory, part cinematic chamber group, part shipwrecked serenade.
They will make your knees tingle.

Fox & Woman:
They write songs walking home from bars. But like those rare and special nights where the whiskey is warming you, the moon is full, the streets are covered in leaves and the company that you are keeping makes you feel loved, alive and full of soul, Fox & Woman is the greatest thing to happen to a night. With rich harmonies, gut aching violin and a power that will knock your sweet socks off, these lovelies are not to be missed.
Dottie Lux: She is a fab performer and the founder of Red Hots Burlesque. The show has seen 6 years of successful shakes and shimmies in NYC and has been covered in The New York Times, on NBC, Current TV and Curve Magazine. They bring you a show with out boundaries including bizarre beauties and senseless sideshow. Not for the faint of heart or weak of humor. They have found their happy home at El Rio in San Francisco.
As a performer, Dottie brings a clown punk and performance art spirit to her work that is always delightful, often shocking and regularly touches the sublime. She makes the naked reveal an act of power and a statement of the best kind of beauty. She is also a proud teacher at the School of Shimmy.
Allison Moon:
The amazing author of Lunatic Fringe has kindly agreed to join our reading.
Allison Moon is a writer based in Northern California. Her writing has been published in Not For Tourists, Nerve.com, McSweeney’s, and Psychopedia.com. In 2011, she was named runner-up for the Victoria Hudson Emerging Writer’s Award. She was recently named a fellow for the Lambda Literary Foundation’s Emerging LGBT Writer’s Program.
During her time as a curator for the LA Gay & Lesbian Center’s Advocate & Gochis Galleries, she was named one of Frontiers Magazine’s “Hot 30 Under 30,” and her curatorial work has been featured in Velvetpark, The Advocate, and Blade. In addition to writing, Allison is a sex educator.
Lunatic Fringe, a queer, feminist werewolf story, is her first novel.
Kegel Kater:
She is a make-up artist, she does drag and she is a real-life bona fide Stewardess. She will be strutting some stewardess sass for us at the show right before she flies off to exotic points of interest. Anyone interested in the Air Strip?!
Michele Rider:
Amazing photographer extraordinaire. She was our How To Spank and our Cougar photographer. When not engaging models to express the best of their beauty and personality, she is a marvelous documentary and live shooter. She's the bomb!

Fleur De Lis aka Vanessa L. Pinto: Sex blogger, radical fighter for women's rights and all around stunning human being, Vanessa has been delighting and inspiring people far and wide with her explorations of the sexual underground and the world is better for it. We are very honored to have her write for Whore! and to have her join us for the party. She will also be our amazing Cougar auctioneer.
From her: I moved to San Francisco in 2009 to go to law school, instead I took a left turn and was named San Francisco's sluttiest blogger. I decided to take a year of my life and indulge every passing fancy I had. I wanted to be a hedonist and a pagan. I created a blog, Fleur De Lis SF: Whatever You Desire, and I started a living journal. I want women to embrace their sexuality, own it, love it and never be ashamed of it. I am also a contributing writer for Whore! Magazine. I have been published in Hustler Fantasies and a book is on the way. The Huffington Post did an article on my current and continuing projects. My goal is to educate people about sex-positive cultures, relationship options and eradicating the shame that comes along with sex.

Dusty Rose: Poet! This woman has brought audiences to orgasm with her words that are raw, powerful and sublime. To hear her is to be transformed.
Ginger Murray: Editor in chief of Whore! magazine, drag artist, storyteller and late night blues singer, Ginger loves this life we lead.
The Cougar and puppy auction:
Nancy Myers ~ The run the EHs pilates studio, slings cocktails while smirking and fills out a latex skirt exquisitely.
Grant ~ He's hot, he's sweet, he can make a mean margherita!
And special guest Karol!
Whore! Magazine
Fast,
Feminist,
and Feminine
Whore! magazine is a quarterly print publication dedicated to celebrating the current and historical qualities of women who have defined a role for themselves outside the status quo. Through written word, art, design, fashion, and music,Whore! magazine creates dialogue about what women are as opposed to what traditional society has dictated they should be. Whore! delves into issues largely untouched by mass media while reclaiming a derogatory word that has long been used to censure those who would desire, express, resist, or simply take a different path. By recognizing those women, both modern and historical, who strive for experience rather than conventional “goodness,” and continue to fight an age-old battle against expectation,Whore! explores important facets of culture, sexuality, ascendancy, shame, history, and the right to be.
“We have tried to make ‘rake’ as disgraceful as ‘whore.’ We cannot do it. And now we are determined to take the disgrace out of whore.”
– Tennessee Claflin, 1872
