As President of the George W. Bush Foundation, Mr. Langdale is
responsible for the development and initial start-up of the George W.

After practicing law for ten years, Mr. Langdale started a business
career that included the development and operation of hotels and
resorts in the U.S. and Latin America. He also served as Chairman
of the Department of Economic Development for the State of Texas,
responsible for economic development activities and tourism
promotion. He was appointed to serve as Ambassador of Costa
Rica in 2005.
He holds a Bachlor of Business Administration with honors in
finance from the University of Texas at Austin (1975) and a Bachelor
of Laws from the University of Houston School of Law (1977).
