  Geoff Arnold I decided not to wait for the 3G because I have no idea how long it will take to unlock the iPad, nor when non-US carriers will support its weird SIM.
  
  I use a CradlePoint mobile hotspot, with a 3G USB modem (AT&T for US, CMCC for China), so the WiFi iPad will work just fine.
