Guest Speaker: Rita Chand, The Year of Hugging Fearlessly

From February 1, 2011 to January 31, 2012, our guest speaker Rita Chand undertook to hug one new person each day for one whole year! We were lucky to be Day 189 when she attended a yoUnlimited Networking Lunch.

Rita’s year officially finishes on January 31st but it’s our guess she won’t stop hugging people and we’re excited to hear what she has in store now! She’s been featured on CHEK news, Jann Arden’s CBC Radio show and now the yoUnlimited stage!

Come out and get a hug, network with some amazing women, maybe win a door prize and just have a really wonderful lunch hour!

Rita will share:

* How what started out as a personal project to connect with people in a new way, has turned into a movement.
* Why is it so important to connect with someone each day.
* How Rita kept her promise to get a minimum of one hug every day.
* Why The Year of Hugging Fearlessly was embraced by so many.
* Why, before people even know what she’s doing, they have a sudden urge to hug her before even meeting her!
