http://codeforamerica.org is an awesome program "helping government work better for everyone with the people and the power of the web." And hey don't we *need* that in Detroit?

Come meet the peeps, have some dranks and some snicks (do you see what I did there?), and talk about how our city can level up using the super powers of the internet to improve city government and city-resident interaction. No joke, there's a ton of positive energy in Detroit, and that energy can be amplified to be a jillion times more effective if we all help to make things more open, efficient, transparent, and user-friendly.

You have ideas, you have desires, you have talents, you have projects, and they don't have to have anything to do with the internet to form together like Voltron. Come to network, learn, and influence the fellows as they begin their journey to help us all help Detroit.

This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship and a new movement in the city that helps lift all other movements' boats. We hope to see you there! Spread the word(s)!
