We are blessed and fortunate enough to be participating in the 2012 WAKARUSA WINTER CLASSIC, which is a battle of the bands, where the grand price is a performance slot at the 2012 Wakarusa Festival in Arkansas. Well its that time of the year again!! We are blessed and fortunate enough to be participating in the 2012 WAKARUSA WINTER CLASSIC, which is a battle of the bands, where the grand price is a performance slot at the 2012 Wakarusa Festival in Arkansas. As some of you know we pulled out a last second win last year, and had a very solid showing at the Festival.

TICKET TO SUCCESS
The competition is basically set up like this. You show up at Antones and pay your 5 bucks to get in and they give you a ticket which counts as 1 vote. You then find the voting table and put your ticket in the envelope marked as Holding Space, and the band with the most tickets at the end of the night wins!!

Winning this contest last year, was the biggest and best thing that has happened for Holding Space. Winning opened up many many doors for us, which allowed us to tour for 3 months, play with bands like Perpetual Groove and New Monsoon, and play at Stubb's right after STS9. We also played nearly 80 shows, and 6 big music festivals around the country. What more could you possibly ask for in your first BIG year!!

WELL we can ask you for one more little favor. It is up to YOU guys to make it out to the show on January 26 2012 at ANTONE'S in AUSTIN! Without you guys we LITERALLY would not be in the position we are now, and for that I don't think any of us could begin to describe how magnificent and wonderful we think you all are!

SO PLEASE IF YOU CAN MAKE IT OUT, IT REALLY WOULD MEAN THE WORLD TO US, HELP US CONTINUE TO GROW THIS PROJECT INTO A HUGE NATIONWIDE PHAMILY!!
