There is a special day each Spring, when people of all colors, creeds, backgrounds, and alcohol tolerances gather in the streets of Detroit for a city-wide celebration. A celebration of friendship. A celebration of life. A celebration of Detroit. A celebration of BASEBALL!!

Our Tigers won the division crown last season, and started this year off with one of the biggest free agent acquisitions of the offseason. Now it's our duty as fans to put on the biggest display of support of any baseball city in America!

As always, the tailgate and festivities will kick off bright and early. There will be food, drinks, a grown man in a Tiger costume, and of course everyone's favorite game.. Louisville Chugger! Once everyone has rested up from the tailgate, we'll hit the bars in Greektown for another round of fun.

It also happens to be my birthday weekend which I will be out of town for, so I would love to celebrate with all of you this day/night!

It may be early but book your hotel rooms and get time off work now or you'll regret it till April 2013. Details to follow as it gets closer.
