We are hosting a startup competition in order to find the best possible startups in Los Angeles and help them bring their ideas to fruition.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? The competition is open to all Entrepreneurs. It will give them opportunities to present their products/services in front of investors and industry experts and get some valuable feedback, while competing for a prize that can be very beneficial to their future success.

FORMAT:
- 15 startups will have the chance to pitch their companies in front of our panel of judges.
- They will have 2 minutes 30 seconds to present their pitch. They will be allowed to use presentation tools such as powerpoint, web browser, or product demo. All presentation material should be submitted at least 36 hours in advance.
- This will be followed by a 4 minute Q&A section.
- Lastly there will be a 4 minute comment section where the judges will give their final thoughts after their questions have been answered.

APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCESS: The application and selection process will go into two steps.
Step 1: CLICK <http://www.voivoda.com/StartupCompetition.php> and submit your application. Make sure you fill out all the fields as accurately as possible. The deadline for the application is 19th of February.
Step 2: Once all applications have been reviewed, we will pick the top 15 competitors and let them know they have been selected to present.

THE PRIZE: The winner will be chosen by the consensus of the judges. The company will receive a free month of office space at our incubator. During this month our experienced advisors will coach the company on how to best proceed. At the conclusion of the month, a review will be performed on the company based on a technical due diligence, evaluation of the founder team, and an evaluation of the market validation of the company's product. If the company meets the criteria, Voivoda Labs will make a capital investment between $10,000 and $100,000 and lead a funding round through the 5 angel groups Voivoda Labs interacts with.
