SF psych/blues/noise perpetrators THE GRAVES BROTHERS DELUXE are going to Japan for the second time in February/ March.
Japan is chronically bummed out and glowing slightly in the dark after Fukushima. The Graves Brothers Deluxe come to the rescue, spreading dark effing music you can dance to. "Primitive man" invented music to heal spiritual wrong. This is what GBDLX do naturally and what Japan needs; their work is cut out for them.
The send-off show is at the Make Out Room, Saturday February 18, 7pm - 9:30pm. Headlining the show are Las Vegas's THEE SWANK BASTARDS. GBDLX's Stoo Odom calls the band "the world's only math-surf raunch band," and you should too.
