About the DJs:
Subcontinental Drift is proud to have DJ v:shal kanwar spin at his first event since returning from a two year stint in India. v:shal has long been a staple of the local arts scene and has shared the stage with the likes of ?uestlove, Karsh Kale, the Midival Punditz, Cheb-i-Sabbah and Janaka Selekta.
With her half-Armenian/ half-Pakistani heritage, DJ Inda Nile brings a truly global approach to the decks. She spins regularly with the Anthology of Booty, a DJ crew comprised entirely of women of color. A typical set from Inda Nile takes you on a journey along the silk road, from South Asia to the Balkans.
We hope to see you all there. Spread the word!!!
