AT&amp\;T Mobile App Hackathon\, an event produced by the
AT&amp\;T Developer Program\, is excited to be making its SXSW

(Austin Convention Center - Room 2). We’ve lined up a special
 celebrity guest\, Chicago Bears 7-time Pro-Bowl LB Lance Briggs\,
a self-admitted comic book fanatic. As the celebrity judge\,
he’s looking for the best designers and devs to build him a
mobile app.  And where better to find the best than SXSW?
Especially when the Official SXSW Hackathon is located smack in
the center of the action at the Austin Convention Center for your
convenience. At the same time\, we also have a mHealth API mobile
app track with the winners to be showcased at the Health 2.0
Spring Fling conference in Boston AND placed in contention to
become an AT&amp\;T funded startup as part of Startup
Health&#039\;s Academy. The AT&amp\;T mHealth APIs can be found
here. Competitors will be given 24 short hours to knock out
mind-blowing designs by taking the concept and transforming it
into an awe inspiring design. Finally\, to really make this
crazy\, we’ve got over $46k in cash and prizes that include HTC
Jetstream tablets and Sierra Wireless 4G Elevate devices. Would
you rather just party or make money while partying and get the
best of both worlds? In short\, this highly intense event will
celebrate the unique contribution of designers and provide you
with the opportunity to not only showcase your skills\, but
design an app for an NFL great with millions of fans and millions
of potential users.   Special note:  This event is only open

Speakers                  Alex Donn is a Developer Evangelist
with the AT&amp\;T Developer Program and is based out of sunny
Seattle! His passion is educating developers young and old about
mobile application development best practices through events like
hackathons that fuse the collective interests of multiple
technology and business leaders.     Ed Anuff is a respected
technologist and a proven innovator. Prior to starting Usergrid\,
he was most recently executive vice president and general manager
of Six Apart\, which is known for creating the Movable Type
blogware\, TypePad blog hosting software and Vox.
Dan Malee is the lead architect for the AT&amp\;T Developer
Center for Health platform. Dan’s role is focused on growing
the platform through data integration with enterprise data
systems across the healthcare landscape\, providing access to
additional AT&amp\;T services like SMS or LBS via mHealth\, and
fostering 3rd party development through developer outreach
programs like hackathons. Michael Griffith has been designing
new media for 20 years but still suffers night terrors spawned
from the 16 color VGA palette. His understanding of information
 architecture\, usability\, acessability\, and compliance sets him
apart from traditional creative directors. Michael teaches others
how to do it. He has taught both the design and development of
new media and continues to speak at professional organizations
 and conferences..         Senseis Kristofer
Joseph  went to school for many years to be a designer.
Somewhere along the way he was duped into learning how to code.
After developing some of the largest sites on the internet he has
found a home at Adobe XD working on improving the future of
software. Jacob Surber is a Product Manager at Adobe Systems\,
focusing his efforts on HTML design. Jacob’s diverse background
and experience emphasizes the role of “good” design and helps
propel Adobe’s designer and developer tools to the next level.
Bryce Kerley joined Basho in September 2011. Prior to
Basho\, Bryce worked as an independent Rails developer\, working
with startups and established businesses on everything from AJAX
to ZFS. Along the way\, he developed a fondness for presentations
and computing competitions. Anthony Decena has risen through
the ranks of the Titanium developer community\, and is now a
platform evangelist at Appcelerator. Anthony has been involved in
supporting the developer community\, speaking at conferences and
user groups\, and even hacking on Appcelerator&#039\;s new mobile
web implementation of the Titanium platform. Kevin
Whinnery\, at Appcelerator since 2008\, is an experienced
front-end developer who has spent his entire professional life
building rich client applications for the browser\, mobile
devices\, and desktop. From HTML/CSS/JavaScript to Flex to
Windows Presentation Framework\, Kevin has always enjoyed hacking
on the client side most (though he enjoys working on the back end
in node.js\, Ruby\, and even Java).    Brian Wilson brings 10
years\, 3 continents and 1 island&#039\;s worth of experience to
the Kinvey team. In his previous position Brian worked with
rock-solid massive software systems\, creating tools to make life
easier and to debug legacy software. When not hacking back-end
systems and iOS libraries\, Brian enjoys photography\, creating
music and finding the best dumplings in Boston.
Ryan Light is a designer\, developer\, blogger\, CMS expert and
dancing machine\, fueled by espresso. He received a degree in
Physics from the University of Texas at Austin but instead of
figuring out time travel\, he wanted to design user interfaces\,
build websites and help bands and small businesses market
themselves to large audiences. Josh Hollenbeck is a Senior
Software Developer for CitrusByte and has been programming since
age 11 shortly after the families first amiga computer while
growing up. He has worked on numerous client projects for
established companies and start-ups\; and is armed with a vast
language skill-set and quick ability to tackle any area of
unknown. Ty Amell is the CEO of StackMob and founded
the company in January 2010. He brings a wide range of product
and engineering expertise\, including building scalable
distributed systems and monetizing mobile applications. Prior to

imeem mobile applications Rodger Williams is currently the
AT&amp\;T mHealth Product Marketing lead for the AT&amp\;T
Developer Center ForHealth\, and as such has the ultimate
responsibility for executing the overall go-to-market product
 strategy\; including the platforms features\, functionality\,
market positioning\, initial launch\, and ongoing lifecycle
