"Saturdays at Charlie’s" is hosted by novelist Peter Orner and Songwriter Paul Griffiths.
They will be joined on February 18th by very special guests, Tom Barbash and Jim Bruno.
Novelist and non-fiction writer Tom Barbash is the author of the novel, The Last Good Time, and the New York Times Bestselling non-fiction book about September 11, On Top of the World. Tom's work has appeared in the New York Times, McSweeney's, and many other publications. He teaches writing at California College of the Arts.
Jim Bruno is a San Francisco Bay Area based singer songwriter. His songs have been recorded by Shawn Colvin, Mary Lou Lord, Cliff Eberhardt and Laurie MacAllister. Songs he's co-written have been recorded by Chuck Prophet and Thad Cockrell. He has toured in the United States and Europe. In November 2011, he opened for songwriting legend, Graham Parker at the Freight & Salvage.
