115 DAYS OF BURPEES. CrossFit Advanced in Easton, PA (home of the Burpee) is challenging other CrossFit affiliates to take up the 115 Royal Burpee Challenge in honor of the man who made the burpee a household name: Royal Huddleston Burpee of Easton, PA.
The box will begin the celebration on Feb. 11, 115 days before June 4, by
doing a single burpee as part of the Royal Burpee Challenge. For the next
114 days, the burpee workout will be repeated, with a single, additional
burpee added to the workout every day, culminating in athletes doing 115
burpees on June 4 to mark the 115th anniversary of Royal H. Burpee’s 115th
birthday.
THE RULES:
1. Begin on Feb 11th, 2012 by doing 1 burpee
2. Add a burpee every day until June 4th ending the event with 115 burpees
3. All burpees must be done by day's end. If not, all have to be done the next day in addition to that day's amount.
