Women outnumber men on most social sites, except for Digg/Reddit and Google Plus, and are now taking positions of leadership as professionals in a wide variety of fields that use social media. Hear the successes, challenges and lessons learned from some of New York’s most dynamic and diverse women social media professionals, and then collaborate with a global audience to help create six action points to help promote unsung women as social media professionals.
In a fast-paced format, following short presentations from an all-women panel of social media professionals and a Q&A period, the event will break into six groups that, in connection with a global audience via live stream and Twitter, will collaborate to write six action points to help recognize women leaders in professional practice of social media.
