Round 1 of the Paddle NSW Open Water Series - Bay to Beaches Ocean Paddle Challenge (B2BOPC).

This race starts at Bonna Point reserve, Kurnell and runs out through Botany Bay heads south along the coast, across the spectacular Bate Bay / Cronulla Beaches and into Port Hacking, finishing on the beautiful sands of Gunnamatta Beach. This is a classic 18km Ocean Paddle along a well paddled path that has been a local secret for many years. This race is the recreation of a race in 1984 that was then called the Caltex Bridge to Beach race and then finished on Cronulla Beach. To make this event suitable for all paddle craft we are finishing it on the beach at Gunnamatta Bay.

There are cash prizes for the first Ocean Ski, Spec Ski, SUP, Outrigger Canoe and Ocean Kayak. There will also be a sponsored "Hot Spot" for $250 inside Botany Bay.
