Join us for a night of innovation, social entrepreneurs, and change-makers. Share your story and entrepreneurial journey Connect with other social entrepreneurs and change-makers Inspire change in others and prepare to be inspired Start some good as we promote change through innovation As change-makers of all varieties descend upon Austin, Texas for SXSW we welcome you to Center61 to hear from eight up-and-coming socially oriented ventures. The night will feature eight innovative social ventures giving Ignite-style five minute presentations. Not only do we welcome you to listen, but also to participate by taking part in the judging process to determine which social venture walks away with the grand prize of $1,000 courtesy of Rackspace. This is also a great opportunity to connect with folks from across the social sphere both locally and those in from out of town. The evening will feature treats from Austin area social food entrepreneurs as well as a chance to experience Austin’s stellar co-working space, Center61, specifically geared to the social entrepreneur community. Agenda: 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Registration and pre event mingling 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Pitches start (five minutes per pitch) 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Networking and mingling with ventures 9:00 p.m.   Winners are announced   Ventures: FourTechers Project Cost of Freedom Project OpenCurrriculum Lil' MDGS Pocket Hotline Real Good Food HourSchool The Meta-Activism Project Transportation: By car.
