DISTRIBUTE FOOD TO THE HOMELESS

There are homeless in Kuala Lumpur city. Late at night, when you go to Kuala Lumpur city, you can see homeless people sleeping on side walks. How can we help them? We may not have the capacity to provide employment, housing, education and medical care. But all of us can afford the time and love. To a homeless, seeing someone still care for them, can keep their hearts warm and hope for the next day.

HOW WE DO THIS?

We join an organization, known as Kechara, to distribute food. New comers are led by experienced leaders. And a two-hour orientation will educate you on what to do and what not to do. So we have to go early. The programme is likely to end at 1am.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ALSO

1. People from any race and religion can participate. Charity has no discrimination, racism and prejudice.

2. Attendance is Free Of Charge. If you want to buy the Kechara t-shirt, bring RM25 for the t-shirt.

3. Car pool as there are few parking spaces at that time - due to the large number of volunteers attending every Saturday night. This way, you can also invite your friend to go with you.

4. RSVP closes on Friday midnight. The team leaders need to organize the teams efficiently. Attendees who suddenly come in the last minute can create a lot of difficulties to the team leaders.
