She is also a Venture Advisor at500 Startups and an advisor to SSE Labs. Previously, Christine was a Principal with First Round Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm, where she worked with companies such as BillFloat, Double Verify, Get Satisfaction, Mint, and Xobni. As a Director at Omidyar Network, she developed the Media practice strategy, investing in Common Sense Media, Digg, Socialtext, and Wikia, among others. Prior to Omidyar Network, Christine held operational roles with Mission Research, NetObjects, and Microsoft, and was the founder and CEO of Mercury2, a SaaS developer of international e-commerce applications. She started as an investor with Geocapital Partners, where she funded early Internet and network infrastructure businesses including Netcom and AXON Networks. Christine earned degrees from both Stanford University and Columbia University. Charles Hudson is a Venture Partner with SoftTech VC, one of the most active seed stage investors in Web 2.0 startups. He is focusing on mobile and gaming investments, and supporting SoftTech portfolio companies on business/corporate development matters. He is also the Co-Founder and CEO of Bionic Panda Games, a mobile games startup based in San Francisco, CA. Prior to joining SoftTech VC and co-founding Bionic Panda Games, Charles Hudson was the VP of Business Development for Serious Business until the company was acquired by Zynga in February 2010. Charles is also the founder of the Virtual Goods Summit and Social Gaming Summit, two of the leading conferences in the free-to-play games space. Trevor Cornwell is the founder and CEO of appbackr inc. appbackr is the first wholesale digital marketplace for apps. Developers get immediate payment for their apps; buyers profit when the apps sell in retail app stores. Appbackr has been awarded three major honors: Winner, PayPal X Developer Challenge, Winner, SVASE/Cambridge West Ventures SEED Award, AlwaysOn Top 250 Company, and AlwaysOn OnMobile 100 Company. Cornwell's career has been spent developing and growing new enterprises in media and technology-based businesses deploying Internet technologies to create market efficiencies. Most recently Cornwell created Embarkons, a peer financing utility for developers. Earlier he developed video personalization software which produces customized video streams based on viewer behavior. One of Cornwell's most successful entrepreneurial ventures was a reservation system for business jets, which was sold to Bombardier in 2000. Danae Ringelmann co-founded IndieGoGo - an online crowdfunding platform for ideas - to democratize fundraising. Passionate about helping artists and entrepreneurs embrace the DIWO (Do-It-With-Others) approach, Danae speaks often at conferences. Recent speaking engagements include SXSW, MAD Hong Kong, and Big Omaha. Fast Company Magazine recently named Danae one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Technology. Danae is a CFA charterholder and holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Danae graduated with a B.A. in Humanities from UNC-Chapel Hill, where she was a Morehead Scholar and varsity rower. George Revutsky is the founder and CEO of MyNextCustomer. MyNextCustomer is a dead simple web-based application that helps franchisors and local businesses manage and measure marketing performance across paid search, SEO, social, and offline channels. He is also a founding advisor at Knotty Labs. Prior to founding MyNextCustomer, George spent 9 years as the founder and CEO of ROI.works Search Marketing, Inc. where his clients included Apple, American Greetings, Mini, Oreck, Union Bank, 3PAR, and COIT Cleaners. Before ROI.works, he was in charge of building and running the Marketing, Client Services, and Site Services teams at Cybergold, Inc., and was a part of the executive team that took the company through an IPO. Cybergold was later sold to MyPoints for $157MM, and MyPoints in turn acquired by United Corp. Before Cybergold, George founded 1HOT, an interactive marketing firm he started at 23 and sold to an ad agency 2 years later.
