The Dark of the Moon or the New Moon is a three-day period at the beginning of each lunar cycle when it is time for rest and reflection. Intention setting is best done at this time as well as silence, meditation, and sorting of things in your life. If you want to permanently clear things from your life, the Dark Moon is the best time for it. Clear yourself for the new possibilities that will come later in the cycle. The power of this phase of the moon sets the tone for the rest of what is to come in the cycle, know that and use it.
In honor of this important time, we will begin gathering under the tent for the purpose of sharing and exchanging, the Friday closest to the Dark Moon as part of a new series we are calling Red Tent–After Dark. Our next session will take place on Friday, February 24th and led by Amina Carter. This month’s topic: fear.
As a participant please bring:
-A pillow to sit on (we will be on the floor)
-Something to share (food or drink (non-alcoholic))
-A donation to cover space rental (Minimum $5 is suggested)
