This two-day gathering is a high-profile event consisting of a conference and an open trade exhibition. The animago CONFERENCE brings together representatives of creative communities working in all digital fields. Leading experts showcase the latest high-end technologies and modern approaches (projects, productions, making-of films and much more) in presentation panels. The highlight is the celebratory AWARD show, where the animago winners 2012 in the 11 categories will be announced.

The THEMES of the animago CONFERENCE are closely associated with the editorial categories covered by DIGITAL PRODUCTION, the special-interest magazine responsible for the animago AWARD & CONFERENCE.

- ANIMATION / VFX:
2D/3D-animations and visual effects are presented in making-of reports on concrete projects including workflows and solutions to problems.

- STEREO-3D:
Stereo-3D refers to necessary technics, actual technology and creative opportunities of animation and real productions.

- GAME / INTERACTIVE:
The topic game/interactive includes presentation panels for creation and technical realisation in game play & game design and also in digital signage.

- POST-PRODUCTION:
Additional to the core piece compositing this new spectrum presents editing and sound design. Also for TV important motion graphics are be placed in this themes category.

- DISCUSSION PANELS:
On each day, October 25th and 26th, a business talk will be organised. This panel is proposed taking place into the fx.center cinema, what is free of charge for all visitors. The discussion themes will be decided during the coming month and they will be positioned regarding to the actual happenings/subjects of our business field. Potential topics could be such as recruiting, film funding or lawful aspects for artists in the entire spectrum of digital media productions.
