The Music and Entertainment (MEC) and Distinguished Speakers Committees (DSC) of the Student Event Center will present a lecture by Win Butler, Regine Chassagne, Will Butler, and Marika Anthony-Shaw of Arcade Fire. The Montreal-based, Grammy Award-winning artists will discuss the current socio-economic crisis in Haiti, and their own volunteer efforts in the region. Proceeding along this path, the musicians will draw attention to the work being done by the non-profit to which their profits are directed: Partners in Health.
Passes will be available in the box office of the Student Activity Center (SAC), beginning Thursday, March 1st, at 7:30 AM, and a limited number of press passes will be available. Remember to bring your current student I.D!
