The famous TED conference is taking place this week in Long Beach, and YOU can attend for free from the comfort of the brand new Northern Design Centre in Gateshead.

We will be picking out the best from TED2012: Full Spectrum to curate an informal low key afternoon for your viewing pleasure and mental stimulation. All interested parties in the region are invited to join us to see this brand new TED content hot off the stage in Long Beach where 2000 people have paid nearly £5000 for a ticket.

This TEDxGateshead will be the new Northern Design Centre's maiden event, meaning we are the first people to lower the projection screen, and press the 'ON' button on the AV! We are really excited to be able to share the inspiring TED experience with you in a building built for the purpose of designing and creating new things.

So come along to the Northern Design Centre on Thursday for an educational and motivational afternoon with friends and colleagues, where you can sit back, relax and enjoy this million dollar content for the price of an afternoon.
