On March 1, 2012, N.E.X.T. New West, Vancover Entrepreneurs Meetup and Metro Vancouver Professionals (MVP) are teaming up to kick-off the inaugural ROYAL CITY MEETUP in New Westminster.

Come join His Worship the Mayor of New Westminster, Wayne Wright as he brings greetings from the Royal City and offers his outlook for the tremendous business opportunities that are at hand and in store for the future.

Mayor Wright will be joined by developer extraordinaire and Founder & President of The Salient Group - Mr. Robert Fung. Robert is one of Vancouver's most influential businessmen, as well as a philanthropist. His company focuses on the reuse of heritage buildings, and on restoring and creating vibrant communities in the city. Robert is synonymous with the successful revitalization of Vancouver's Gastown, as his company took on a number of restoration projects in the past decade to re-establish the vibrancy of this landmark community.

Now Robert has his eyes set on Downtown New Westminster, with a bold vision to restore historic Columbia Street back to its former glory.

This is a meetup that young professionals and entrepreneurs across Metro Vancouver do not want to miss.
