In a separate follow-up training we plan to take an in-depth look at how to use Google Analytics and Google Webmaster tools for measuring SEO effectiveness.
As our group name suggests, this is an INTERACTIVE training. This is the perfect opportunity to not only learn with a hands-on approach how to do things you need to learn, but you can also interact with the Trainer by asking questions specific to what you need to learn, and at your level.
Rather than waiting for Q & A at the end, we'll accept questions during the training (as long as they are 'on topic' for what we are learning.
HOW MUCH
$29 for this event. Payment must be collected within 24 hours of the event, otherwise your reservation is subject to be canceled automatically (if your reservation is canceled you may re-register and pay, subject to current availability).
HOW TO PAY
There are a few payment options:

I'll associate payment to the email address you use for Paypal or credit card as a record of who has paid.
Payment must be received no later than 10am the day of the training to give me time to send you the meeting details (call-in number and web conference link and password will be sent vial email by 10am the day of the training).
If payment is not received by the deadline you will not receive access to the training regardless of whether you have RSVP'd, and you may have prevented someone else from attending by taking a spot and not attending.

Note: Basic notes and/or presentation from the training including any Plugins or Themes discussed will be sent to all meeting attendees after the training.
WHY
Build it and they will come?? Not necessarily. For best results for getting found by search engines you need to spend a little time optimizing your website.
Sure there are tons of online videos that show all sorts of WordPress tricks and marketing stuff...but our experience has shown us that people learn best when they can watch a real-time example and ASK QUESTIONS, and get real-life answers and examples from knowledgable WordPress Experts to help them with the things they have no experience with or are struggling with.
WHO
This training is for anyone who is using WordPress for any purpose and:
Wants to get more visitors to their website.
Wants their site visitors to come to their site for the right type of content.
Wants their site visitors to stay longer.
Even if you've already using an SEO plugin, there's a really good chance that you are going to learn some more very useful tips during this training.

WHEN
This meetup listing will contain the latest date/time information.
Duration: Approximately ~1 1/2 hours (if you can leave early you can refer to the follow-up meeting notes and presentation for the content you miss).
WHERE
This meetup will be virtual (see note below). Sign up for this event to receive video conference and call-in information prior to the meeting.
NOTE: We are also open to meeting in person on occasion if you know of a good place that would support a 40" LCD and a group of 10 - 20 people (like a restaurant with a back room). Please suggest a possible venue for in-person meetups!
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone any training for any reason without advanced notice. Typically we need at least 3 paid attendees for each training to cover our costs, otherwise they are highly subject to cancellation.
Organizer Postponements: Paid attendees for any trainings Postponed by the Organizer will NOT receive a refund (see User Cancellations for exceptions).
Organizer Cancellations: Paid attendees for any trainings Cancelled by the Organizer will receive a full refund (applies only if WE cancel the training).
User Cancellations: User Cancellations for all events require at least 72 hours advance notice before the event to qualify for any refunds. Since we are limited on the number of attendees (even for virtual web-conference type of meetings) and may have a waiting list, no refunds will be given for User Cancellations that do not meet this criteria regardless of the reason you cannot attend. If you do not receive the training details on how to attend the web conference (or any physical meetings) by within at least one day before the training it is up to you to contact the Organizer in advance of the training to be sure you get access information in time to attend.
VIDEO RECORDINGS
Our intent is that all trainings will eventually be made available online at some point. We have not yet worked out how we will make them available and if there will be an associated cost. We do not want to discourage people from participating in our live trainings, so at this time we are not focusing our efforts on making and posting videos in hopes that more people will attend the live events.
All trainings are subject to being video recorded. We reserve the right to retain full ownership of any recordings made. By participating in a training you agree to our terms and conditions and consent to use of videos at our discretion.
