We're stoked to have DELICATE STEVE headlining our event this year. Known for a prank press release penned by music critic Chuck Klosterman (describing them as "the wordless New Jersey U2"), the band, in actuality, plays NPR-endorsed "exhilarating guitar pop blended with polyrhythmic beats and psychedelic electronics" on David Byrne's Luaka Bop label.

Also on the bill are Austin nu-gazers/Smashing Pumpkins tour mates RINGO DEATHSTARR, Parisian electronic artists ANORAAK, Brooklyn co-ed indie pop quintet NORTH HIGHLANDS (one of MTV's "Most Criminally Overlooked Artists Of 2011") and Brooklyn goth-punk/dance-rockers HUSSLE CLUB (led by Spank Rock/Santigold drummer Prince Terrence).

Music industry tastemakers DJ BUNNY EARS (aka - Eric Johnson) and GABE MCDONOUGH will be throwing down vinyl DJ sets. FRIENDLY GHOST (members of ANAMANAGUCHI and STARSCREAM), Shout's FRANCIS GARCIA and local scenester FREDSTER will also be on the decks.

If this isn't enough to blow your mind, Takoba serves acclaimed modern, interior Mexican cuisine in an outdoor setting with 2 full bars and a giant 'adult sandbox'. For all you party crashers, Takoba is near ALL the action on Austin's East Side - close to Fader Fort and Mess With Texas, yet within walking distance to Sixth Street proper.

Did we mention that we'll have free LONE STAR for the first 2 hours and admission is free? Boom! That's the sound of your head exploding with excitement.
