TATSUYA NAKATANI, percussion solo

Tatsuya’s textural music is only to be properly experienced live. Using extended techniques and non typical approaches to fairly conventional instruments, Tatsyua produces sounds that range from sublime to menacing, and tones that cannot be contained by recording. The sounds are unbelievably dynamic. The volume is not loud, but the tone range is enormous. The experience is ultimately physical and intensely immersive.
