Obscura is excited to announce that we are going to have our very own Prom! "The Awesome Obscura Prom" will take place on Saturday, March 10! Our decision to throw a prom was incited by our excitement over the fact that "The Awesome 80's Prom" will be coming to the Valley. "The Awesome 80's Prom" is the hit interactive off-Broadway show that makes the audience feel like they are actually at an 80's Prom. The show will be at the Chandler Center For The Arts from March 19-24 and we will have several tickets to give away for opening night at Obscura, plus discount coupons for all who attend!

Prom attire (of any decade) is encouraged but not at all required, so please feel free to keep it casual if you prefer. The talented Melissa Fossum of the Phoenix New Times will be taking your prom portraits by the entrance where we will have a fun backdrop set up.

As usual, DJ Roya & Funkfinger will be spinning all your favorite indie, new wave & britpop party jams!

We are getting several pairs of tickets to see Rhys Darby (aka Murray of Flight of The Conchords) live at Stand Up Live in downtown Phoenix at cityscape! He is doing 5 shows March 16-18 and we will have multiple pairs for each show to give away!

We will have some more pairs of tickets to the Arizona Renaissance Festival to give away, as well as tickets to the following shows:

We will have cd's from Xiu Xiu, Boxer Rebellion, First Aid Kit & The Good Natured to give away!

We will also have passes to an advance screening of 21 Jump Street, starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. We will also have 21 Jump Street t-shirts, posters and shot glasses!

No cover before 9pm and just $5 after.
