It's easy to start a business today, but much harder to build a business that really matters. After writing about that challenge, we began to hear from and work with a handful of entrepreneurs who are working to build companies of significance. These entrepreneurs have taken up the challenge to build businesses that matters.

To celebrate and showcase these companies, Guidewire Group invites you to our first Make It Matter Pitch and Networking Event. We're holding the event in partnership with the Deusto University Multinational MBA program and the Global Growth Forum, the networking forum where Economic Development Agencies, International Bridge organizations, and service companies can share ideas and best practices to successfully enter and grow through more effective Public and Private partnerships.

Participating startups are tackling difficult problems to serve customers in Smart City, higher education, conservation, and consumer activisim. Companies will pitch to and receive feedback from a panel of expert mentors.

We round out the event with a panel exploring strategies that enable emerging businesses to accelerate their global growth. Please join us on March 22 to hear from and network with this exciting group of international business builders.
