Thank you very much for those of you who made out to our Vancouver Entrepreneur Meetup in New Westminster on March 1st but for those who couldn't make it, here it is - our very first Vancouver Entrepreneur Meetup for 2012 in Downtown Vancouver!
For the very first 2012 meetup in Downtown Vancouver, we are joining forces with Entrepreneurs International Organisation Meetup! Yes the world of entrepreneurs in Vancouver is colliding on this night.
George Moen is a Serial Entrepreneur with over 30 years of success and failure and success in food, IT, networking, and franchising. If you haven't met him, you are either not from Vancouver, or you haven't been to a business networking event.
George believes that people do business with and buy from people they know, like and trust, and he co-founded and built a business networking organization called HOBN, which grew to over 500 members in its first year.
George was then appointed President of Blenz, the Canadian Coffee Company in February, 2007. He has helped Blenz compete successfully against Starbucks, become the greatest Canadian coffee franchise, and ranked Blenz in the top 10 brands as well as beat out Visa in Branding and Marketing during the 2012 Olympics in Vancouver - a feat achieved with only a fraction of Visa's massive budget.
Come learn what inspired George to put all his successes behind him and start a new startup company - one that has had amazing traction and growth.
In the spirit of collaboration, we will also have EIO's SmartPitch where 3 entrepreneurs get to pitch their product/service/company/cofounder or talented employees. Maximum of 2 minutes followed by 1-2 minutes of feedback (or more if there is a lot of interest from audience). Please email mvan+pitch@thenetworkhub.ca
As usual, there is no cost to attending the event but we would REALLY appreciate a bottle of wine or cheese to share.

With greetings from our cool workspace :)
