BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!!! THE Jon Allen's comedy show at Anime Conji in San Diego California. Based upon a pretty much unanimous decision, this year's showcase will allow 15 participants to perform for their Japanese-cartoon-loving peers a total of 5 minutes of material (although you're welcome to do less time, but no less than 3). Performing in cosplay or in character is not required, but it's definitely a lot of fun! Jon will not be censoring his comics, but asks that you do not try to pass off a parade of F bombs as being a stand up act. At four minutes, you will see a light being lit in your direction indicating that you have a minute left to wrap up your set. At five, the light will flash repeatedly, indicating that your time is up.

Performers should bring a 3x5 card to the show with their name and one or two things about them that they would like mentioned in their intro. PLEASE PRINT NEATLY!

Prizes will once again be given to the top four performers. Special guest performances will take place during a brief break after all of the entrants have performed while the votes are being tabulated.

As an added side note, Jon would like to ask that whether you plan on attending this show as a performer or a spectator, that there be NO HECKLING THIS YEAR. It got a little out of hand in 2011.
