Who sees the films?
The films screen during Überfest, a student film festival held at GMU every year. This year will have an Academy Awards theme, complete with paparazzi and a red carpet! You! The only requirement is that the Writer/Director must be GMU student(s).

Is this a contest?

Who judges the films?
Distinguished GMU faculty members will judge the competition based on aesthetics, storyline, challenge criteria, and technical merit. These judges generally have extensive experience within the field. We require these judges to be fair and impartial. Our judges donate their time and talent to select the top films. In addition to determining the Spring Break Film Challenge winner they also select a number of other awards for Überfest.
