Saturday at 9a we will gather to begin discussing and working. Sunday, April 22nd at 4p we will submit our works. Prizes announced by Sunday at 6p. Not sure how hackathons work? Since then, advances in technology have made images clearer, the information coming back from space richer, and the world smaller. Today, many of us carry smartphones that have 512 megabytes of active memory, 32 gigabytes of storage, weigh less than 200 grams, and can form a real-time connection instantly to anywhere in the world. Our investments in space exploration have generated incredible amounts of data and resulted in the development of new technology that continues to improve life on Earth.
