‘I LOVE THIS CITY’ FESTIVAL
Venue moved to Shoreline Amphitheatre
Friday, May 25th and Saturday, May 26th
Dear fans -
As the I LOVE THIS CITY festival quickly approaches on May 25th and 26th, production challenges at The Lot are resulting in what would be a compromised experience for both the artists and fans. Faced with continuing the event in less than ideal circumstances, or moving to another venue that can deliver the intended premium experience, I LOVE THIS CITY will be moving to Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View.
Issues that need to be addressed given the move to Shoreline are as follows:
1. Free charter bus service will be provided from The Lot at AT&T Park to and from Shoreline Amphitheatre throughout the day on both Friday and Saturday. There’s a shuttle reservation tab at
www.ilovethiscityfestival.com where you’ll need to reserve a time slot for the shuttles each day. This reservation system is critical so that we provide enough shuttles for a great experience.
2. All of the artists confirmed for I LOVE THIS CITY will still be performing at Shoreline Amphitheatre on the same days we’ve announced
3. By moving the event to Shoreline, we’re able to extend the end of the event to 11:30pm each night.
4. Because of the venue change, we are able to lower the age restriction to 16 and over.
5. If you currently hold a ticket from The Lot at AT&T Park, upon arrival at Shoreline Amphitheatre you will be given a wristband that will give you priority access to the reserved seats for the main stage as well as special side stage viewing areas for the two stages in the parking lot.
6. If you currently have a VIP ticket, you will have access to Shoreline’s VIP Terrace club and other VIP accommodations at the venue, including a private bar and private restrooms.
If you do not yet have a ticket to I LOVE THIS CITY, there are new lawn ticket prices available for the festival. We’ve added a $50 general admission lawn ticket for Friday’s show and a $60 general admission lawn ticket for Saturday’s show. There is also a two day general admission lawn pass for $99.00.
These new general admission lawn prices are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com, ilovethiscityfestival.com, Ticketmaster outlets and by calling 1-800-745-3000.
The reserved seating areas are now sold out.
The production at Shoreline includes the full massive experience with multiple art installations, over 4,000 sq ft of LED screens, 3 stages (2 in the parking lot at Shoreline and 1 on the main stage) and over 80 of Vau De Vire Society’s most talented acrobats, aerialists, contortionists and burlesque performers.
Please know that this decision was not made lightly and that, in the end, we want to deliver the absolute best experience possible to both you and the artists.
We can’t wait for May 25th and 26th and all of the incredible performers, production and fans to come to I LOVE THIS CITY.
With love,
I LOVE THIS CITY
