When: Friday, March 16, 8:00am PT
Where: Apple San Francisco, One Stockton Street, San Francisco, CA 94108
What: Local consumers will deliver more than 250,000 petition signatures to Apple, asking the company to develop a worker protection strategy in response.
Concerned Apple customers will continue to demand that Apple respond to the more than 250,000 signatures on a Change.org petition by the Stockton Street location demanding the company respond to recent criticisms of worker abuse in their supplier factories and commit to creating an ethical iPhone 5.
We invite you to join us, help deliver the petition, and show Apple their customers care about the people who make Apple products. Feel free to bring your favorite Apple products with you.
We will meet in front of the Apple store on Stockton Street at 8:00 am and deliver the petition shortly after. If you have any questions, please call Jess Morales at 312-813-1273.
