For the last 31 years the non-obtrusive shadow of U2 has loomed over the world like a layer of "...oh, it's that band again".
To commemorate the 32 year anniversary of U2s first album "Boy" it is declared that October 20th 2012 will be the first international "Ugh It's U2" Day.
To celebrate UghDay you can drink a beer (it's a saturday) and shake your head over the ramblings of Bono, you can go to a local yard sale and pick up a copy of "Joshua Tree" and put it into a bin, you can have a chat with a friend about why on earth U2 is one of the biggest concert bands in the world or you can simply ponder why a grown man would choose to call himself "The Edge".
Feel free to post here on the event if you have your own events in your town.
Don't hate on U2 fans, they're just like that.
But do share this.
