The March edition of Timisoara Mobile Development Group Meetup will include a diverse set of entries in it's program:
* A series of 3-5 short pitches of the Windows Phone projects developed by the participants to the hackathon organized by Cosmin Tiru and his Microsoft Student Partner colleagues in a project supported by Timisoara Software Business Incubator and TiMo, aiming to expose local universities' students to MS mobile development technologies. Hackathon participants were invited to focus in their individual projects on pro-bono and/or public benefit. If you want more details on the Hackathon or you eventually want to offer a prize to the best team(s) just let us know!
* A presentation of SlickFlick, a project developed in London and Timisoara by the outstanding team having Maria Constantinescu as founder and including in the technical department our TiMo fellows Walter Fetich and Mihai Rusoaie. The team reunited in this period in our city for a one week face-to-face working session and for meeting the TiMo community.
* A panel discussion on Mobile World Congress 2012 (Barcelona, Feb 27th-Mar 1st) with some of the Timisoara participants (Codruta Nicolescu, Moise Jurca, Radu Adrian Moldovan, Ovidiu Moga, Lucian Pacurar, Zsolt Tamassy).
They will share with the TiMo members what was special in this year in "nebunia asta" as Lucian Pacurar described MWC in a Skype chat during his Barcelona event participaton. We would like to see how this is perceived as a transformative experience, how business and technical co-operation can be sought and found in such a diverse crowd and which were the most astonishing gadget launched there.
* A new skype-based intervention on how to accumulate, to polish and to obtain value from mobile app development skills and knowledge. The name of the presenter will be announced in couple of days!
