My name is Brandon White and I am running for Senator-at-Large. I am currently a sophomore here at CSULB. I want to be a Senator-at-Large because I feel that there are many things here at CSULB that go overlooked and are in need of changing. I hope that I can acquire your vote and support because I would like to increase my service to the students in a more direct way. Most importantly with your vote, I plan to find out what the students of our university want and make a conscious effort to meet those desires.
As Senator-at-Large my objectives are:
- To extend hours of the SRWC
- Better promote student aid programs like tutoring and workshops
- Seek out new ways to increase student involvement
- Raise campus spirit and attendance to more sporting events
- Fight against budget cuts and make the student voice heard
- Take immediate action by forming resolutions that benefit all students
I am best qualified to serve as Senator-at-Large because I have been extremely involved since I was a freshman here at CSULB. As a freshman I joined Kappa Sigma Fraternity in an effort to become immediately more connected with the campus. Beginning this year, I joined The Law Society where I now serve as The External Relations Chair and am 1 of 6 associate justices for the Judiciary Branch of ASI. As of Late, I have joined the MUN team here at CSULB; where we practice making world resolutions like delegates of the UN and travel to conferences across the country to represent our great school. Through my experience in these positions, I have gained much insight as to what can be done, and now I want to make it happen!
Thank you, vote Brandon White for Senator-at-Large!
