Oakland Leaf is glad to announce the date for the 12th annual All-Oakland Youth Talent Showcase entitled "Taking Back Oakland: The Heart of Resistance." This showcase promises to bring a variety of performances from youth all over Oakland as they share the same stage in solidarity. It is their chance to show how Oakland's rich history through different forms of art. High school students of the Youth Roots program annually co-host, organize, and promote the event. This youth-led production is a simultaneous act of resistance and celebration to showcases the beauty and talent that often gets marginalized when one thinks about, talks about, or represents Oakland.

Doors Open at 6:30pm
Showcase Starts at 7:00pm

Ticket information:
Based on a sliding scale $10-$25
Families of performers receive a discounted ticket price.
