From Fitness to EMR vendors, it's hard to find a Health Technology Company today that has not adopted a "platform" solution. However, this designation often falls short of the business, regulatory, and legal necessities to facilitate real change in healthcare.

This panel discussion will include some of the top platform providers for an open discussion on issues of security, privacy, competition, technology, and commercialization. Specifically, we will deal with such difficult topics as HIPAA and business associate agreements, FDA and platforms, and the investment community's point of view on platform companies and the applications built on top of them.
