You’ve heard of Flash Mobs? You know, groups of people that break out into “spontaneous” dance. Cash Mobs are similar, but instead of dancing they go to predetermined businesses on a specific day and spend a little money to help support locally owned businesses.

On Saturday, March 24th Wichita will join the rest of the planet for the first ever International Cash Mob Day! To participate all you have to do is go to at least one of businesses we’ll announce on Wednesday and spend at least $10.

To make it more fun, you also have to meet at least one new person while you’re out shopping that you’ve never met before. Oh, one more thing – you have to have FUN! You’ll have all day from 10am until 6pm to shop, and when you’re done please join us at one of After Mob celebration spots we’ll announce on Wednesday to show off your new goodies.

You’ll have to wait until Wednesday to find out the exact locations, but get ready to hit Delano on Saturday. Chosen because it’s an area filled with locally owned businesses that need our support, the specific businesses we’ll mob have been selected because they:
1. Are a locally owned business that has been open for less than one year.
2. They must have products for men and women.
3. The business owner must give back to the community in some way.
4. They must agree to be mobbed.

While you're in Delano, go ahead and stop in another shop and maybe spend a little money with them too.
