Each presenter will present their process for making media in the 21st century through work examples and current projects.

The presenters are:

Than Niles- Than Niles is a graduating Convergent Media student at the University of the Incarnate Word who, at the age of 23, is a small business owner and a part of the award winning film making team at BigBalloon Productions. Come join in a conversation with him about his journey as a film producer in this brave new world where the content is free and the creator is as big a celebrity as they sell themselves to be.

Kuro Tawil- A current Texas State undergraduate student, Kuro Tawil has been working in the video production realm since he was a child. Kuro has a mixed media background with his main medium being the internet, whether it is internet meme creation, audio production or extreme automotive video production, Kuro has been creating new ways of about media creation and distribution. His current project, which he will present and unveil, delves back into traditional media with a 21st century media production twist.

Phillip James- A San Antonio native, Phillip James is a 21st century digital savant. Those who have met him have been awed by his humbleness and participatory attitude. His abilities span multiple disciplines and fields. His presentation will take a look at how he has created such a fluid approach to digital media making in the 21st century.
