The Bay Area Photography Events Meetup Group and the Apple Store - San Francisco Present:
The Amazing Images of Legendary Photographer John Lund
I have followed the career of John Lund for many years and feel that he is a master of humorous visual imagery. We have all seen wonderful images from many talented photographers but the special quality that John brings to his photography is the skillful use of humor as well as the unique and dramatic ideas he creates. Because of the unique quality of his images, he has been very successful selling stock images and will share a lot of information about stock photography as well as explain how he creates his iconic images. I have seen John's presentations before and can assure you that this will be a presentation that you will not want to miss - mark your calendar now and enter an RSVP.
Date: Wednesday, March 21, 2012.
Time: 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a question and answer period following from 8:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
Location: Apple Store - San Francisco, 1 Stockton Street at the corner of Market. We will be in the Theater on the Second Floor of the store.
Please note: If you are planning to attend, we ask you to enter a Yes RSVP. The reason for doing this is that our Apple store presentations have become very popular and we really need to know how many people will be attending so we can prepare. Seating is strictly on a first come, first served basis. You recommend that you arrive early to reserve a seat and than check out all the goodies in the Apple store.
Parking: There are Tow Away Zones on many of the streets around the Apple store. Some of them end at 6:00 pm so there is usually a lot of parking places available at that time. Other streets have tow away zones that end at 7:00 pm so be careful. The parking meters do not run after 6:00 pm so you do not have to put any money in them after 6:00 pm.
The Apple store is also very convenient to public transportation - the Powell Street BART station right next to the Apple store.
Cost: This is a FREE event.
We look forward to seeing you on March 21.
